Frequently Asked Questions
A listing is an advert create by you the User on your profile for any equipment, products or services you wish to sell or offer.
I am trying to create a listing but can’t find the ‘sub-category’ or ‘type’ that matches the equipment or services I wish to advertise, what should I do?
Some countries may not be in the drop down menu, due to potential trade sanction issues. For more information please review our ‘Acceptable use policy’ and if you still have an issue, please contact us with your issue at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try and resolve it for you if possible.
You don’t have to select a Department, but you may find it easier to do so, if you have created Brands or Divisions as Users may visit your profile only in search of listings in one particular Brand or Division.
When you are adding your listing, you may also want to include a link to a specification page from your own website, such as a load chart for a crane or sales sheet for a piece of machinery. Open up the desired page on any website that relates to your listing, copy and paste the link in to your specification URL. Any User when viewing your listing can then view the specification sheet.
If you don’t want to add a link for your spec sheet or having other documents that relate to your listings, you can upload them here in PDF, Word or Excel format. These documents can then be viewed as attachments in your listings.
Please check that you are trying to upload only ‘jpg’ OR ‘GIF’ files and that each image / file is no larger than 2MB
Please make sure that you are trying to upload only video types which are supported by Indoogoo, such as; YouTube (complete list when finalized)
Indoogoo only allows you to list in the featured currencies.
On the last page of the listing form, you can select either one or two privacy settings for your listing; ‘show profile in listing to all’ or ‘show profile in listing only to contacts If you select the ‘show profile in listing only to contacts’ then only your contacts will know you own the listing. Everyone else viewing the listing will see ‘private profile’ and will be required to complete the ‘PRE-CONTACT QUESTIONAIRE FORM’ in order to make contact and know your identity.
Every time a registered User views either a listing or an RFQ listing, Indoogoo captures that User’s information and informs the owner of the listing which profile has viewed which listing. This provides potential lead generation to the owner of the listing and potential new contacts / trading partners they may wish to pursue.
You can see how many ‘Views’ you have received and against which listings or RFQ listings in your dashboard, or by clicking on the individual listings themselves.
